Long before launching her culinary business, Tori spent her college years while attending Southern Connecticut State University, working as a receptionist on-campus and a waitress off-campus, where she discovered that exceptional customer service is every bit as important as exceptional food. She later built a successful career as a Senior Corporate Meeting & Event Planner, producing regional and national conferences for nonprofit organizations and government-contracted agencies. Those experiences became the foundation of the elevated hospitality and seamless event execution that define By Tori Larrae LLC (formerly Breakfast Belle) today.

Inspired by her family's Southern roots in Santee, South Carolina and the legacy of her Mother and late Grandmother, Tori founded her culinary business in 2015. Today, By Tori Larrae is an elevated culinary and hospitality company specializing in elevated catering, VIP hospitality, celebrity and athlete experiences, backstage and touring artist catering, executive meal prep, personal shef services, and curated events.

With more than a decade of experience as a licensed caterer and Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager, Tori has served Fortune 500 companies, Yale University, Bridgewater, Datto etc., corporate executives, nonprofit organizations and private clients. Most recently, she catered for recent Grammy Award-winning artist Wale, his touring team, and acclaimed recording artist Smino, continuing to expand her portfolio of celebrity clientele.

Shef Tori intentionally spells "Shef" with an S to emphasize S-H-E, a tribute to women and a symbol of empowerment, inspiring the next generation of female culinary professionals to thrive in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

Beyond the kitchen, Tori is a culinary consultant, entrepreneur, and creator whose signature food products, including Bamma Fish Fry and Hot Sauce, have gained national recognition, with Bamma Fish Fry even making its way into the kitchen of Tabitha Brown and Yolanda Adams. Her entrepreneurial journey has also earned recognition through multiple business pitch competitions, appearances on Good Morning America, BuzzFeed's Cocoa Butter series and honors from the 100 Women of Color Awards.
